## Information we collect

 * **Orders and accounts:** your name, email, telephone number, billing and delivery
addresses, selected products, order history and account details when you provide
   them.
 * **Payments:** the payment method, transaction reference and payment status needed
to reconcile orders and refunds. Card details entered into a payment provider’s

security codes, PINs or one-time passwords.

your chosen public name and review content.
 * **Technical and shopping information:** IP address, browser and device information,
security logs, cart contents and session identifiers used by our website, hosting
and shopping tools. Information entered during checkout may be saved before you

   or request marketing updates.

## How and why we use it

We use information to process payments, fulfil and deliver orders, manage accounts,
answer enquiries, handle returns and refunds, maintain records and keep the store
secure. We may use saved cart and checkout information to help recover an incomplete
order or send a cart reminder where permitted. You can ask us to stop these reminders.

We send promotional messages when you have subscribed or another lawful permission
applies. You can unsubscribe using the message’s unsubscribe option or by contacting
us. Order, delivery and refund messages may still be necessary to service a purchase.

Depending on the purpose and applicable law, we process information to perform an
order or respond to a request, meet legal obligations, pursue legitimate operational
or security interests, or with your consent. Where processing relies on consent,
you may withdraw it for future use.

## Who receives information

We share information needed for the relevant task with service providers such as:

 * Couriers, which need delivery contact details, address and parcel information.
 * Payment and instalment providers, including PayHere and Koko when used, and Mintpay
if it is offered and you select it. Providers may carry out their own eligibility,
fraud and payment checks under their own privacy notices.
 * Our hosting provider, Namecheap, and website, email, security and order-management
service providers that support the store.
 * Professional advisers, authorities or other recipients where necessary to meet
a legal obligation or address fraud, a dispute or a lawful request.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with unrelated businesses
for their independent marketing. A provider’s handling of information on its own
website or platform is governed by its own notice. For example, see [PayHere’s Privacy Policy](https://www.payhere.lk/privacy/).
Contacting us through WhatsApp also involves WhatsApp’s processing of your message
and account information.

## Cookies and similar technologies

Our WordPress and WooCommerce store uses cookies and related browser storage to
keep items in your cart, maintain checkout sessions, remember login information
and support shopping features. Our cart and checkout tools may also use identifiers
to associate a session with an incomplete order. Blocking these technologies can
prevent the cart, login or checkout from working correctly.

You can manage or delete cookies using your browser settings. This policy does not
itself provide consent for optional advertising or analytics tracking. If we add
such tracking, we will update this notice and provide choices where required.

## Storage, retention and security

Order and payment records are retained for the time needed to fulfil the purchase,
process returns, resolve disputes and satisfy applicable accounting, tax and legal
obligations. Enquiries, saved carts, subscriptions and technical records are retained
only while needed for their purpose, subject to any necessary legal retention. You
may ask us for information about records relating to you or request their deletion.

Some hosting, communication and payment providers may process information outside
Sri Lanka. Where applicable, we use safeguards required for those transfers. We
use HTTPS and access controls to help protect information, but no internet transmission
or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

## Your choices and requests

Depending on applicable law, you may request access to or correction of your information,
deletion, restriction of or objection to certain uses, withdrawal of consent, and
other available data-protection rights. We may need to verify your identity before
acting. Some records must be retained to complete an order or comply with legal
obligations; we will explain any relevant limitation.

Email [info@snapcapclothing.store](https://snapcapclothing.store/privacy-policy/info@snapcapclothing.store)
with the subject “Privacy request”. Please describe the request and provide an order
reference if relevant, without sending sensitive identification documents unless
we explain why they are needed. You may also raise a concern with Sri Lanka’s [Data Protection Authority](https://www.dpa.gov.lk/)
where appropriate.

## Children and changes to this policy

This store is not directed at children. A parent or guardian who believes a child
has provided personal information should contact us so we can review and address
it.

We will update this page when our practices change and revise the date above. Where
a change requires notice or consent, we will provide it as required. Contact us
using the details above if you have questions about this policy.
